Earn to Die

Earn To Die

Earn To Die

Earn to Die is not a thinking man’s game, but only a fool would hold that against it. The game is all about the visceral delight of smashing zombies with rocket powered cars and trucks.

The game follows a simple story: Stuck in a Mad Max style wasteland, you are given a car and a small budget to buy parts and told to get to a helicopter. Every attempt gets you a little farther as you earn money by smashing zombies and making good distance and then use that money to buy upgrades.

It’s a simple game, it’s not very complex, there’s not a ton of challenge, but by the end of the playthrough, you’ll be taking a rocket powered, machine gun loaded, big wheel, super charged semi truck and smashing it into zombies head first, flying it over hills and canyons and come screaming to a halt at the helicopter at the end of the level satisfied and ready for more.

Thankfully there’s challenge mode, which gives you three tries and ranks you on how far you get.

Earn to Die may not be the most complicated or sophisticated game, it may not be the most clever, but it’s a lot of fun. You hold the up button, you lean the truck left or right to get over rocks and hills, and you smash through the walking dead and crates.

Earn to Die - It’s simple, it’s dumb, and it’s a whole lot of fun presented by NotDoppler..

If there’s any real criticism to be made about the game, it’s that it’s almost too complicated with the leveling up system and everything. A game like this could probably be just as fun if it were just the zombie smashing part. Perhaps an endless looping level that just lets you keep smashing deadites until you get bored. In any event, for what it is, Earn to Die is one of those brilliantly addictive wastes of time that’s sure to get you in trouble at work, so play at your own risk, knowing full well that you might not be able to stop once you get started. For such a simple game, it’s tremendously addictive.
